#ShiRensaHaiku Dawn

What can you see now?
The darkness is all around.
Hush of night surrounds.

Hush of night surrounds.
Then light, a streak on horizon.
A rooster is ruffled.

A rooster is ruffled.
Its cawing, the silence breaks.
Dreamy eyes, shut tight.

Dreamy eyes, shut tight.
Dreaming love’s dreams, sublime.
On lips, a smile.

    1. Thanks so much for going through the Haiku and providing me with your feedback. I have just started writing Haikus and have got absolutely besotted with them. Love the way A Haiku aims to provide that one moment of eternal bliss, something akin to a fragrance that comes with a whiff and then lingers on in the mind for a while. Your comments mean a lot to me. I like the style developed by you; makes it possible to weave together a chain of thoughts in the form of a story, something which I have attempted to do here. Thanks once again. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™
