Wins do that, don’t they, in sports or business, or everyday life? I can’t help but see, as is happening to a lot of people this past week, correlations to the US situation. One win, but the loser refusing to “fall” in defeat.

For sure, the joy of winning erases and heals all pain. If it is a grudge fight then for sure the taste of victory is sweeter and helps heal mental scars also at times. I tend to agree with your view on the US election, quite unfortunate what is happening or has happened. It is not easy being a graceful loser.
