Am thrilled to know that you loved my write. Came across this poetic form on a post a week back, on Facebook. It had skipped my mind after that but when I saw your prompt, it came back and II decided to try and write using this style. Found the poetic form quite interesting- total syllable count is slightly lesser than a tanka but there is a bit more flexibility, in my opinion, because of one additional line compared to a tanka. This is a layman’s interpretation; you would be a better judge of course. 😊
