Tea is more than just a beverage. It is a feeling that makes a day wholesome. It is considered as one of the most popular drink of the country. India consumes approximately 8,37,000 tons of tea every year!

From starting the day with a hot cuppa to stopping by the roadside stall or ‘Tapri’ on the way back, may be considered a ritual for many. In another survey conducted by a heath app it has been inferred that people in India tend to drink more tea as they age.

While tracing the journey of Tea back to where it came from, I came across a few interesting stories on  the same.
